How long does it take to complete a course?
You are encouraged to learn at your own pace — spend more or less time on a topic according to your needs. You are not required to complete a course in one sitting. Each time you log out, your work and time within the course will be saved, and your progress will be bookmarked. The CE Manager will track your course progress, so that next time, you can simply start where you left off.
How do I check how much time I have spent on a course?
Click on the "Completion status" button found at the bottom of your course screen to review how much time you have spent in the course. As well, a "Completion Status" screen appears at the end of a module and at the end of the course, providing a summary of the time spent reviewing the course.
What happens if I open a course and leave it inactive for a period of time?
If no activity is detected from your system for a period of 20 minutes, the CE Network system will time you out. If you attempt to continue with the course after 20 minutes have elapsed, you will be requested to exit the course, log into CE Network again and restart the course. The progress during this inactive time will not be tracked. Once you log back into the system, you will be returned to the last screen where your time was recorded.
How long do I have to access my courses?
Once you have completed a course, you may return to it as often as you like for review until the course expires. Courses will expire two years after the purchase date.
How do I receive credit for a CE Network course?
Each course lists the specific requirements for course completion and for obtaining continuing education credit. On completion of all course requirements, you will see a Congratulations screen. You will be instructed on the procedure to follow for reporting your course completion for continuing education credit. It is recommended that you retain copies of documents as proof of course completion.
